Comox drug strategy’s ingenious scholarship concept

Many students may deserve credit for going through high school without consuming alcohol or drugs, but having better relationships and escaping injury and bad health effects are usually their rewards. Few are offered an incentive to set abstinence as a goal. But last year and again this year, the Community Drug Strategy Committee is offering financial aid awards of $500 each to two graduating students attending schools in the Comox Valley.
