Province announces action plan for “patients with complex needs”

Terry Lake, Minister of Health, permits himself as he announces an action plan to deliver treatment for the most complex form of Severe Addiction and/or Mental Illness (SAMI). Lake commented that he “directed the Ministry of Health to develop the plan in response to community concerns in Vancouver and ensure evidence-based approaches are in place to better support patients throughout the province.”
